EVERYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE, IS TRUE
CHAPTER 1 - When 3 o’clock hits, anything can happen
He woke up in the middle of the night. The room was dark. He foccused his looks trying to figure out any kind of shape. His eyes started adapting themselves to the darkness and finally he could guess what was around him. He sat up on the bed, and felt something next to him. Marvin started climbing his arm. He took him and put him on the floor, next to his feet, and stood up. He walked to the door and excited the bedroom, making his way down to the kitchen.
There, in the wall, you could see a really big clock. It was 3 o’clock in the morning, as always. It’s been 2 weeks now since Tom started waking up at 3 o’clock in the morning, every day. It was really weird, it made him be like a zombie most of the time, and his eyes looked really tired. It was probably some kind of problem with his circadian rhythm, his body clock was working bad! He even stoped drinking coffee in case it was the reason he was waking up at 3 o’clock in the morning for weeks, but it looked like coffee wasn’t the reason.
He opened the fridge and took a brick of milk. He decided to make some coffee, otherwise he couldn’t resist next hours. Marvin was there in the kitchen with him while he was preparing everything for the coffee. Soon it started smelling really good.
“Mmm I love the smell of coffee, don’t you Marvin?” he said and took Marvin up and into his arms.
When the microwave did “ding”, he put Marvin down and opened the microwave door. As soon as he touched the recipient, he burnt his hand, so he fastly put it under water.
After all this, he finally could prepare a good coffee. He went to the living-room and turned the TV on. Nothing good on at that time, but anyway he couldn’t sleep. Suddenly the screen went red, and he couldn’t see anything. He started flipping throught all the channels, but they all were like that. Nothing but red.
Tom woke up on the couch when he heard someone talking in the room. It was the TV that was still on. He felt asleep? How? He wasn’t even tired! He still had the coffee cup on his hands. It was empty, althought he couldn’t remember drinking it all, and he couldn’t remember falling asleep.
He walked to the kitchen and left the coffee cup on the sink. The Microwave did ding, and he got scared. “What the fuck…?” He opened it, but it was empty. Marvin walked next to him and jumped over a chair. Tom looked up at the clock. It was 3 o’clock in the morning…
